- What is the Swedish citizenship test?
- From 6 June 2026, applicants for Swedish citizenship aged 16–66 must prove their knowledge of Swedish society, for example with school grades or an SFI course D certificate. Applicants who cannot prove it are offered the citizenship test.
- When is the next Swedish citizenship test?
- The next civics test is planned for April–May 2027; UHR will announce the exact date on uhr.se. You register after receiving a letter from the Swedish Migration Agency. On the first test (15 August 2026) the pass mark was 28 of 40 points and about 80 percent passed.
